How does BoltHire's job matching actually work?

We analyze your quiz answers, resume, and stated preferences, then score live job listings against that profile using a mix of skills overlap, seniority fit, location, and compensation alignment. You choose which matches to Auto Apply; confirming opens the employer listing so you can submit there.

Does BoltHire guarantee I'll get interviews?

No — we can't guarantee interviews or job offers, since hiring decisions are made by employers. BoltHire is matching and drafting software that helps you prepare and open listings so you can apply yourself.

When will I be billed, and how much?

Accepted Answer

The Free Trial is 7 days with 20 Auto Applies, the first 20 matching jobs, one resume, and one cover letter generation per job — your card is required but you are not charged today. After the trial it becomes $12/month. Starter is $12/month due today. Pro is $23/month due today. You'll always see the exact amount and date before confirming.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no lock-in or long-term contract. Open Account & Settings and choose Manage or cancel subscription (Creem customer portal). You won't be charged again for the next period.

Question 5

Does Auto Apply submit applications for me?

Accepted Answer

No. Confirming Auto Apply records the job in your dashboard and opens the employer listing so you can finish the application on their site. BoltHire does not fill third-party forms or click submit on your behalf. You stay in control of what you send.

Question 6

How is my personal data handled?

Accepted Answer

Your resume and quiz answers are stored in your BoltHire account and used only to power your matches, tailored applications, and account features. We don't sell your personal data.

What does the match score percentage mean?

Accepted Answer

Match scores range from 0–100% and reflect how closely a listing lines up with your title, experience level, skills, location, and salary preferences. Scores of 90%+ are considered excellent fits.
